Mothers' Day Out

A Curated Wellness Retreat For Mothers and Mothers-To-Be

Motherhood is one of life’s most transformative journeys, yet many women find themselves navigating pregnancy and postpartum recovery with limited support, little opportunity to rest and
few spaces intentionally designed around their wellbeing.

The Mothers’ Day Out Retreat is a carefully curated one-day maternal wellness experience
created to nourish, restore, educate and celebrate mothers.

Through wellness activities, expert-led discussions, meaningful connections and restorative experiences, participants will be introduced to the vision and philosophy behind Our Lady of La Leche Centre, Nigeria’s first ever dedicated postpartum recovery and maternal wellness centre.

Why Attend?

For generations, much of the attention surrounding childbirth has focused on the baby, while mothers are often expected to simply carry on. At Our Lady of La Leche Centre, we believe maternal wellness is at the centre of the entire family’s wellbeing.

The Mothers’ Day Out Retreat was created to offer something many women have never experienced: An experience of holistic care, to place maternal wellbeing at the centre of the conversation, recognising that a mother’s recovery, health, and experience matter just as much as her baby’s.

As the first experience of its kind from Nigeria’s future home for postpartum recovery and maternal wellness, this retreat offers an opportunity to prioritise yourself, connect with other women, and experience the care philosophy that shapes our centre.

Because when mothers thrive, families thrive.
